Docs Lauro is an own son of Dry Doc. He was bred by the King Ranch
and carries their brand. TheKing Ranch was the leading breeder of cutting horses with over $6 million earned through the end of 2000. Docs has taken several high school kids to the NHSFR. He is 15 hands and weighs 1200 lbs. His pedigree is stacked full of champions and old foundation bleed. Poco Lena, AAQHA Champion, NCHA top ten (10x), NCHA World Champion mare (3x), dam of Dry Doc and Doc O Lena NCHA futurity champions. Dry Doc has LTE of $85,000 with a superior in cutting, performance ROM and placed second in the NCHA non-pro finals in 1978. We are very excited to start riding his offspring. We really believe that he will be a great outcross on the Beckwith mares. Docs is very classy and correct, with a nice hip and sloping shoulder. Docs also has disposition plus, which we think is very important when breeding horses. Docs is proving the be a great sire throwing powerful muscled-up colts that can really move! |
